Comments/Variations:
Makes between 8-9 cups of granola, or about 64 oz. Tastes great with raisins or other dried fruit added after granola has cooled.
Hint: you may need 2-3 cookie sheets or pans, depending on the size of the pan. The more granola mix you have in the pan (thicker), the longer it takes to cook and the more difficult it is to stir or turn. Stirring the granola every 10 min. was found to be more practical.
Cost of ingredients for 2-3 batchs: approx. $17, or about $6-7 each 64 oz. batch (as of 9/2008)
